One of the largest energy generating and trading companies in the world have a requirement for an Account Manager to be responsible for the development of business opportunities and delivery of services across their current client base in the UK.
Responsibilities include;
- Ensure achievement of sales targets across gas fired power plants, both utility and industrial installations.
- Development and implementation business development strategy
- Develop, maintain and expand relationships with existing and new customers
- Manage prospects, inquiries, contract discussions and contracts
- Close liaison with operational departments and all related functions for proposal preparation and contract negotiations
- Strong customer focus, majority of working time spend with customers
Requirements;
- Demonstrable business development experience in this Energy sector
- Profound understanding of complex technical, financial and contractual relations of the business
- Strong conceptual and analytic skills and ability to present complex subjects
- Customer and Service orientated mentality
- Capability to manage relationships in complex organizations
- Willingness to travel
- Languages: English, German and further languages as a plus
