Client Manager- Energy Regulation

This company has experienced significant growth in recent years, winning new contracts and seeing their role on existing ones extended. They have ambitious plans for the future and are now looking to strengthen their regulation and policy delivery team by employing a Client Manager within their energy practise.

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of a dynamic management team across an evolving and diversifying sector due to legislative and governance amendments which could have impacts on the future direction within the energy sector.
  • Additionally, a focus of this role will be delivering an internal and external communications strategy to outline how we are fully embracing the concept of exceptional service by motivating and inspiring the team to go the extra mile.
  • Supporting the Senior Client Manager by providing exceptional service to the clients and stakeholders from a contractual perspective, ensuring that deadlines are met and to the highest quality;
  • Delivering and monitoring a communications strategy with assistance from the marketing team;
  • Responsible for approving all external communications to clients and stakeholders;
  • Building relationships with the regulatory Board, Executive Committee and sub-committee stakeholders
  • Undertaking chargeable work as directed by the Senior Client Manager and correctly reporting time through time sheets; and Undertaking additional tasks as required through interactions with various internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with, building relationships with and delivering high levels of service with a large and multi-layered team; Line management;
  • Demonstrable experience of consistent performance development and performance management;
  • Understanding of financial management including work order management, forecasting and budget setting;
  • Experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
  • Great communications skills with an ability to tailor messaging to a range of internal and external stakeholders through written and verbal methods;
  • Attention to detail with demonstrable high-quality outputs;
  • An understanding of the current energy sector is required, and an understanding of the energy codes landscape would be advantageous;
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with experience of building consensus;
  • Enthusiasm, motivation and a flexible attitude to pitch in where required and to lead from the front.
