You will be working for one of the UK’s leading Energy from Gasification business’ who have several Waste to Energy facilities.
You will report into the Senior Management team to implement the EC&I processes. Responsible for any electrical maintenance faults and to make sure all plant is running safely and correctly.
- All sites are certified correctly for electrical installations
- Work with a high number of facilities across the North of England
- Liaise with the mechanical technicians and lead the maintenance plans for each system fault
- C&I Diagnostics training
- Investigate electrical controls failures and produce the incident reporting
- Responsible for SHEQ procedures and all Health & Safety processes are kept to a high standard
- Liaise with the plant and equipment manufacturers for new parts and new installations
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of an HNC in Electrical Engineering plus the City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Technician qualification.
- You will be fully qualified in HV switching, with excellent LV and HV fault finding skills.
- You will be highly competent in respect of electrical controls and instrumentation of medium speed power generation modules.
- This position requires a high degree of flexibility, self-motivation, and initiative, with the capacity to travel to site as and when.
