Health & Safety Consultant – Home Based – Covering clients in and around the M25/London based on your home location.
This is an ideal opportunity to work for one of the UK’s leading Health, Safety and Risk Management Consultancies who are looking to hire an experienced and qualified Health, Safety and Fire Consultant to join their prestigious, high-profile fast-growing team.
The successful candidate must have experience and understanding of a conducting technical and complex risk assessments (Health, Safety & Fire) as well as audits for various clients within a Commercial & Residential Property as well as Manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities will include:
·Attend various client sites and conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits
·Providing a bespoke Health and Safety documentation and management systems to our clients customers
·Carry out and create Fire risk assessments
·Carry out and create specific client risk assessments
·Create Health & Safety Management reports
·Identify client requirements through surveying client premises Conduct safety audits
·Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures
·Ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with their contracted services Advise on all current occupational H&S and environmental legislation
·Audits and Inspections of health & safety practices to be carried out across the business.
·Client training as required to their service and use of their Health and safety management system
·Experience of advising in a multi-site environment
Knowledge, Experience and qualifications required:
·Technical consultancy knowledge
·Engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach
·Grad IOSH status or equivalent, ideally working towards CMIOSH with a definitive CPD program
·Excellent communication skills
·NEBOSH Fire qualification or equivalent
·Adaptable team member
·Member of the IFE would be desirable
