This client is a growing Electrical Engineering company dealing with onshore and offshore Wind Farm projects across the world.
They require a Quantity Surveyor / QS to join their commercial team.
- To manage every aspect of Contractual and Financial Performance of the business portfolio. Implementation and Management of Forecasting and Cost Control and reporting to Contracts Manager.
- Preparation of Estimation & Costing, Quantity Surveying, Variation Orders, Claims, final Accounts, Sub-Contracts, Payment Certificates, Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Progress Coordination.
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel and able to prepare quantification with breakdown structure and pricing using MS Excel spreadsheets.
- Preparation of BOQ for all disciplines, budgetary cost, Preparation of cost estimates
- Preparation of generic & site specific BOQs, Scope of work, and Specifications for Work Plan Packages of GPT.
- Prepare Change Order calculations using basic unit rates, time unit rates or by building up new rates.
- Preparation of detail cost analysis
Requirements
- Experience in Electrical /Civil construction projects
- Must have experience using industry standard method of measurement and able to understand the Contract Documents, Subcontract documents/formats the project specific Method of Measurement, specification and correspondence during bidding stage.
- Knowledge of Price analysis and cost component
- Advanced level Microsoft Project, MS Excel, MS Word
- Understanding of NEC contracts
