Search-Tech attended the UK’s biggest renewable and low-carbon energy event in Glasgow on the 15th and 16th of May 2024, hundreds of renewable energy companies and thousands of industry relevant visitors attended across the whole sector.
The event was a great success bringing most companies across the sector together to share expertise and solutions to overcome current UK energy challenges in becoming net zero by 2050, which renewable energy will play a key role in. Search-Tech attended in force lead by Sally Woods, Search-Tech’s Director of Renewables, with over 10 years market experience Sally is extremely experienced recruiting in the whole of the renewables and low carbon energy sectors, she has recruited roles all the way from offshore wind developers to solar electrical technicians to battery storage asset managers.
Sally has attended all energy for a decade and every year she picks up on new industry insights that helps drives the recruitment function of many key clients and contacts across the sector, making a huge difference to the recruitment and staffing functions of the businesses, and this year was no different with multiple new connections founded and many old contacts caught up with. She also states that “It was really busy this year, the consultancies and developers were all out in force and it was well worth a visit catching up with everyone, Onshore Wind in Scotland and Solar/ Bess construction sites are thriving in England”.
