Aggregates Wash Plant Manager – London
An established organisation within the aggregates and construction materials sector is looking for an experienced Wash Plant Manager to take responsibility for the effective and safe operation of a busy aggregates washing facility in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant or quarry professional looking to take ownership of a key processing operation.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the wash plant
- Lead, manage and develop site-based teams
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and operational efficiencies are achieved
- Oversee plant performance, maintenance and availability
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Monitor production, costs and operational performance
- Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency and output
- Work closely with senior management and other operational teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing an aggregates wash plant, quarry, recycling or similar processing operation
- Strong knowledge of washing, screening and processing equipment
- Proven experience managing operational teams
- A strong understanding of health & safety and environmental compliance
- A hands-on, proactive approach to plant management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
