We are working on behalf of a large national waste processing and collections business who are looking to add to their team on their flagship site. Our client is currently experiencing good growth within the industry and are looking to continue that growth by bringing on board highly skilled and experienced members of staff to help drive the business forward in becoming one of the leading waste/recycling companies in the UK.
To manage all site operations ensuring efficient and safe production.
• To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
• To ensure all processes run efficiently.
• To maximise running time and reduce downtime.
• Allocation of resources.
• Oversee the Site Engineering Department.
• To ensure spare parts and fixings are in stock.
• To ensure the PPM schedule is followed.
Essential
• Communicate with Transport regarding deliveries/collections.
• Build and maintain a close working relationship between company sites.
• Support the Weighbridge staff.
• Support the Site Supervisors.
• Ensure all documents are up to date for EA & H&S procedures.
• Ensure all Environmental & H&S policy/processes are correctly followed.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the general public.
• Maintain housekeeping on site.
• Support compliance in the audit findings
• Ensure all NCR’s are closed off in time.
• Liaise with contractors/suppliers
• Identify training needs across the site
• Contractor inductions.
• Undertake any other duty within the nature of duties and responsibilities held
• Any other tasks as required
