Project Manager (Engineering) – Circa £70,000 – Yorkshire Area
As our client continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their vibrant team. This role reports directly to the Group Head of the Project Management Office and will be vital in managing and coordinating a variety of projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, adopting new technologies, adhering to regulations, and meeting sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your primary duties will involve:
• Coordinating input from internal stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
• Ensuring the application of best practices and adherence to corporate policies in project execution.
• Facilitating, attending, and contributing to project-related meetings.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and work programs.
• Creating and utilizing processes, tools, and techniques to support effective project delivery.
• Preparing and presenting monthly reports to senior management.
• Managing the allocated project budget.
• Conducting thorough reviews of project documentation, tracking costs, progress, risks, and resources to evaluate project health and proactively identify and escalate issues.
• Overseeing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of the projects.
To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications/experience:
• A third-level qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of UK Construction requirements, would be ideal.
• Experience in budget management.
• Experience managing multiple projects at one time.
