Organics & Recycling Manager: Compost and Digestate: Scotland
We are looking for an experienced Organics & Recycling Manager to join our team. The Organics & Recycling Manager will be responsible for the management of existing clients and identifying new clients for compost and/or digestate to maximise beneficial use and financial return, whilst ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Identification and management of storage locations across Scotland
- Identifying new options of fuel supply for the Scottish AD and BioMethane Facilities
- Transport of materials from the sites of production to clients for direct spreading or over-winter storage to a program that allows both sites to optimise their operations.
- Ongoing management of accounts including working to budgets, revenue targets and contractual obligations where relevant.
- Demonstrable compliance with applicable environmental and farming regulations.
- Advise clients as required to ensure the correct usage of materials supplied.
- Attend internal meetings and external conferences.
- Must be willing to travel on a regular basis particularly across Scotland.
