This investor and owner in renewables is an established specialise in large-scale, Solar PV, Battery Storage and other renewable technologies.
Looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our organisation and expanding team.
Responsibilities
- Leading Project Management in the delivery of large-scale Solar PV and Battery storage, ensuring sound processes are in place and adhered to, to provide industry-leading standards, outstanding compliant installations and appropriate contractor timelines.
- Demonstrating excellent technical knowledge of large-scale Solar and Battery Storage design and installation methods to support processes during installation.
- Ensuring each installation is delivered to the highest standards, above set benchmarks and compliant with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Keeping up to date with all relevant regulations and obligations in order to inform and maintain compliance
- Delivering projects to achieve the required quality, on time and within budget.
- Excellent contract management and financial control management
- Ensuring all documentation is complete, compliant and appropriately stored.
- Work with Contractors to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality installation.
Requirements
- Project Management experience, in particular in the delivery of utility scale installations
- Strong Technical knowledge of Solar and Battery installations and design criteria.
- A strong HSE ethos.
- Encourage and maintain strong internal relationships with the development and asset management teams, to ensure the best service is delivered throughout the company.
- Experience of managing contractors
- Strong understanding of the business needs that drive your team's activities, with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
- High-level understanding of your team's area of responsibility.
- Willing to travel to/stay at sites across the UK.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
