An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading renewable energy investor and asset owner managing a substantial UK portfolio of ground-mounted and commercial solar PV assets.
As an Asset Manager, you'll take ownership of the technical and commercial performance of a portfolio of operational solar assets, working closely with operations, engineering, investment and external stakeholders to maximise performance, reliability and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operational and commercial performance of a portfolio of UK solar PV assets.
- Oversee O&M contractors, ensuring contractual and performance obligations are achieved.
- Monitor asset performance, identify optimisation opportunities and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, business plans and capital improvement projects.
- Produce performance, financial and technical reports for investors and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, regulatory requirements and project agreements.
- Support asset valuations and provide technical input into investment and development activities.
About You
- Experience in solar asset management, operations or renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and operational performance.
- Experience managing O&M contractors and external stakeholders.
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
