About the Role
About the Role- Service, maintenance and repairs of a range of HGV units above the minimum standard.
- Diagnosing and rectification of vehicle and trailer faults.
- Preparing vehicles and trailers for MOT.
- 6 Weekly inspections
- Fully compliant with all company health and safety policies
- Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team on larger jobs.
- Maintain a clean work area
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Class 1 license preferable but not essential
- Welding experience preferable but not essential
The package
- up to £17.50 p/hr DOE Basic 40 hours. O/T paid at 1.5 x basic rate
- On call based on a rota basis
- Mon-Fri 0730 – 1800, 30 mins unpaid lunch
- Alternate Saturday’s 0700-1200 in addition to weekly hours
- Continual training given.
