An investor and prominent European IPP is looking for a new Land manager role to join a team of Development managers in the a central UK-based role.

Role

You will be identifying new land opportunities, providing proper documentation, as well as conducting negotiations to successfully delivering renewable projects across the UK.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new sites, through to option and lease, building relationships
  • Conducting negotiations with all stakeholders
  • Managing land lease agreements and all required documentation
  • Ensuring new business opportunities are pursued to their maximum potential
  • Understanding company strategies and developing business practices accordingly
  • Ensuring communication and coordination throughout the full process

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of land acquisition experience in any sector with a preference for renewables or infrastructure or energy.
  • Anyone with DCO, compulsory purchase, national grid are of particular interest
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English.
  • Adept at working to challenging deadlines, prioritizing effectively and managing own workload.
  • Enjoys working with a dynamic and highly engaged team, as well as working independently.
  • A flexible and pro-active attitude, keen to take responsibility and to use initiative.
