Department: Commercial PV
Report To: Head of Commercial PV, Head of Delivery
Overall Objectives:
Lead on delivery of projects from point of sale to system commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical design of PV systems, both single phase and three phase; mechanical and electrical design
- Production of CAD design drawings
- Detailed costing and budget management
- Preparation of written proposals
- Site surveys
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
- Production of bills of materials
- Procurement of materials for managed projects
- Management of project delivery
- Customer Liaison
- Risk management In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined above, the job holder will be required to perform other duties from time to time
Required skills:
- Prior knowledge of PV system design and project delivery (ideally 2 years or more of industry experience)
- Have a keen interest in renewable energies and green technology
- Happy to work as part of a team and also independently when required
- IT proficient
- Have good problem solving skills
- Commercially aware
- Good written and verbal skills

- Use of CAD programmes
- Industry contacts (Labour)
- Experience of PVsol
- Experience of tender writing
- Experience of design and specification of battery storage systems
- IOSH/SSSTS/SMSTS qualification
- Full Driving Licence
