This Renewable energy developer is looking for an professional with a high level of curiosity and analytical mindset wishing to make a difference on one of the most innovative and competitive market.

You feel comfortable dealing with multiple projects and multiple task at the same time, you are organised and can manage deadlines on time involving different stakeholders and contractors.

You have both the ability to keep a high level view of the existing projects and the ability to deep dive quickly without losing sight of the big picture.

Most importantly you need to have a genuine interest to work in the renewable and energy infrastructure that is pushing you to exceed and excel over a very fast and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in developing Wind/PV Biogas projects in the UK Market
  • Assist external professionals in addressing the regulatory framework;
  • Screen, filter and select project opportunities provided by the Business Development team;
  • Properly assess both the business and the financial model;
  • Ensure projects reach ready to build status by managing the relationship with the relevant stakeholders such as planning consultants, authorities, land owners, grid operators, advisors, etc.
  • Link and work with local authorities, utility companies and private entities as well as with financial institutions, funds, potential investors and buyers implementing the strategic partnerships for the country
  • Coordinate the tasks and inputs of the Engineering team as well as the supporting functions  and eventually external advisors – during the development phase as well as during the acquisition and sale phase
  • Keep himself/herself timely and fully informed on any market development and industry news/events in order to quickly identify business opportunities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the development of solar projects. Additional knowledge of conventional generation projects and infrastructure sector projects will be a plus
  • Knowledge of the PV, Wind and Biogas  sector, and any specific permitting regulation.
  • Deep understanding of the permitting processes and regulation.
  • Experience on projects’ business plan finance would be a plus.
