Job Title: Head of Commercial PV Sales

Overall Objectives:
- Develop and maintain sales team
- Achieve sales targets Set Strategic direction with directors and head of department.
- Implement strategy.
- Including setting KPIs and Sales Targets for team and individuals;
- Maintain and grow key accounts;
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor sales team to achieve team’s sales targets
- Lead on implementation of team’s sales pathway including development of outbound opportunities
- Manage key accounts for which you are responsible
- Lead on preparing sales forecasts and KPI reporting for upper management
- Ensure all steps of inbound sales process meet KPIs and set direction for lead selection/filtering in collaboration with upper management for the sales team
- Ensure Account Managers in the team are adequately supported and empowered to deliver on inbound and outbound sales including lead generation, pitch, negotiation, and closing
- Lead on delegation of inbound leads to designers in daily lead tracking calls and manage their workflow
- Work with Head of Commercial Team and Account Manager(s) to manage capacity in the sales team and organise and lead on recruitment of new sales staff as appropriate
- Manage the onboarding process for new sales staff and ensure they are adequately supported through probation process and beyond
- Scout for and appear on behalf of the client or its strategic partners at relevant trade shows or events
- Communicate new product developments and services to customers and potential customers
- Ensure the clients Customer Relationship Management system is kept up to date by Sales team.
- Ensure there is communication between Sales and Delivery Team at point of sale including a meeting for handover of project
- Identify EV charging opportunities in potential or actual customers
- Support the Business Development Manager in writing tender responses and, on occasion, write and manage tender responses
- Encourage and support professional development of Sales team staff
