SHEQ Co-ordinator (£35,000 – £45,000)
We are partnered with an award-winning global technology business who specialises in renewables within asset management and performance monitoring systems. They are a rapidly growing business who specialises in providing businesses with real time analysis of their existing infrastructure with the goal to improve their overall efficiency.
They are searching for an in house SHEQ co-ordinator with a focus of safety processes to join the team!
You will be responsible for:
-Supporting their teams globally to provide zero harm and to develop their strong safety culture
-Developing their programme of support to staff
-Leading reviewing and auditing their accreditation process
-Supporting tender processes and supplier Audits
-Helping to develop a systematic doc management approach to support the SMS
-Preparing a business case for 14001 with a focus on assessing feasibly of carbon offsetting
-Coordinating risk management processes and the bi-annual submission
-Providing training when required to support the SMS
-Creating reports for stakeholders
-Incident Reporting
Key Requirements:
-Experienced H&S practitioner with a recognized institutional membership/qualification (or working towards)
-Trained mental health first aider
-Experience of working within a structured safety management system environment
-Good document management and policy development skills (eg RAMS, Sharepoint)
-Ability to draft clear, accessible and compact policy and procedure documents
-Understanding of risk, and a systematic approach to assessment and mitigation
-ISO accreditation and audit process knowledge
-A strong communicator and relationship builder; good stakeholder management skills
-Understanding of how organizations create a strong safety culture
-Exposure to commercial/customer-facing environments a plus
-Understanding of engineering project delivery in a global context a plus
-Experience of working in a JV environment a plus
