A leading multi-discipline consultancy are currently looking to hire an experienced and qualified Senior Fire Safety Consultant to join their prestigious, high-profile fast growing team based in London.
The successful candidate must have experience and understanding working within a Fire Safety Management team and have worked within a range of sectors including local authority, commercial and a residential environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Experience of carrying out complex Fire Risk Assessments to a high standard.
- Compile FRA reports using the on-line reporting system
- Excellent knowledge of current fire safety practices, codes and guides, fire safety management and fire risk assessment
- Offer knowledge, experience and support other fire risk assessors across the business
- Deal with technical issues from specific contracts and assignments
- Training mentoring and monitoring of fire safety consultants.
- Maintain and develop excellent client relationships and ensure high level of service is delivered.
- Ensure Fire Risk Assessment reports are completed correctly and assist other consultants where necessary to ensure excellent levels of diligence across the business.
- Fire Risk Assessor audits
Knowledge, Experience and qualifications required:
5 years’ experience in a relevant fire safety role
- Membership of a recognised fire institution – Graduate or Member of IFE
- Nationally recognised Fire Safety qualification which could be CFPA European diploma, HND/HNC in fire safety; in Fire Safety Management; Fire Service College’s Long FPA course, MSc in Fire Safety;
- Full UK driving licence
