Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for managing Commercial and Industrial solar PV installations in the UK from design to implementation. We are looking for an energetic and professional individual who has experience in managing engineers, subcontractors and liaising with clients.
We are looking for someone that can communicate effectively, work well when part of a team and have a strong customer service focus and good interpersonal skills. Dedication to timescales and attention to detail where appropriate. A safe pair of hands. Relevant experience working within construction on commercial and industrial buildings. Problem solving needs to be something you enjoy and are good at, with a strong drive to deliver on time, on budget, and on quality is essential.
General Role / Responsibilities
• Provision of technical management and assistance at tender stage to ensure projects are assessed and the design, specification, performance, quality and project timescales are deliverable.
• Management of the installation team, from sales through to installation.
• Developing good working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Specification and procurement of materials and equipment.
• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and handover documentation for all works where required.
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are up to date and installation teams are regularly briefed through toolbox talks.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and updating QMS/CRM.
• Offer engineer/office project support.
• Normal working hours Mon- Friday
Requirements
• Previous experience implementing domestic Solar PV projects Or 2-3yrs Site management in construction, working at height.
• Ability to interpret PV designs for all building types.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours.
• Health and Safety experience preferably IOSH and NEBOSH
